First Christian Church began as "Little Church on the Hill" on April 23, 1901 in Concordia, Kansas by a group of dedicated people who wanted to be a simple New Testament Christian Church, believing that "where the Bible speaks we speak and where the Bible is silent we are silent." 

They began to promote the fact that in essentials there should be unity, in non-essentials liberty but in all things love.  They did not want to be the ONLY CHRISTIANS, just CHRISTIANS ONLY.

 

Here we are now, beginning in our 108th year of service to the Lord in this community called Concordia, Kansas!  We are unique in that we are a purpose-driven church. 

 

Our purpose being: to WIN the lost to Christ, to TRAIN believers to become disciples, and to SEND disciples to impact the world in which they live!
